This April, W. Walnut Cookie Co. in Troy has entered into a partnership with Common Ground Troy, an organization dedicated to nurturing the young minds of Troy.
W Walnut Cookie Co. has debuted its newest cookie, the Bright Future Lemonberry, which combines the company’s sugar cookie with lemons and blueberries. Each Bright Future Lemonberry cookie sold is part of a larger mission with Common Ground Troy to invest in the community’s youth.
For every cookie purchased, $1 will be donated directly to Common Ground’s summer program. This program plays a crucial role in providing Troy’s youth with enriching activities and educational opportunities during the summer months.
“We believe in the power of community and the potential of our youth,” W Walnut Cookie Co. owner Kay Grenon said. “Partnering with Common Ground allows us to contribute to something meaningful while doing what we do best – baking cookies. Each ‘Bright Future Lemonberry’ cookie solid is a step towards a brighter tomorrow for our young people.”
W Walnut Cookie Co. is located at 101 Elm Street in Downtown Troy.
