Francine (Fran) Moman Sharp, a former journalist with the Troy Messenger and the Troy Progress, passed away on April 16, 2024. She was a resident of Wilsonville, Alabama.

Fran’s husband, the late Joe Sharp, was a longtime physician in Troy. Their sons, John and Jason, were actively involved in school and community activities. 

A memorial service for Fran will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham.
