Fresh off the heels of their second straight series win over a Top 20 team, the Troy Trojans have earned their first Top 25 ranking since 2013.
Both Baseball America and USA Today/Coaches Poll ranked Troy No. 22 in the country, while D1 Baseball ranked Troy No. 21 and Perfect Game ranked the Trojans No. 24. Troy was also ranked No. 24 by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Troy swept No. 12 – at the time – Coastal Carolina in a three-game series two weeks ago and this past weekend won 2-of-3 games against No. 18 Louisiana.
Troy is headed into yet another Top 25 matchup on Tuesday as the Trojans face No. 25 Alabama at home in what is already a sold out crowd at Riddle-Pace Field. Troy is on a seven-game losing streak to Alabama, including an 8-7 loss to the Crimson Tide earlier this season.
Fans that still wish to watch the game in person can set up chairs outside the leftfield wall. The game will also stream live on ESPN+.
