The Book Store at the Troy Public Library is always in season.

At Halloween, at Thanksgiving, at Christmas time, at any time, the Book Store has books for youngsters to read, to enjoy and to learn.

Iris Byrd, The Book Store manager, said the Book Store has books about baseball and football, about plants and animals and about people and places.

“Right now, we have a selection of books for young people about ‘famous’ people who have made a positive impact on many lives in many ways,” Byrd said.

On the shelves of The Book Store are books about Beyonce, about Elton John, about Dolly Parton and Oprah Winfrey and others.

These books are easy and fun to read and they also have life lessons to learn.

However, these are just a few of the books available in The Book Store.

“We have books for almost every interest,” Byrd said. “And most of our books are priced at one dollar. We have a few books that are like new or of current interest that are $2. And, we also have grab bags with several books for a dollar.”

The Book Store also has a large selection of puzzles, games, records, CDs and other items for the enjoyment of people of all ages.

The Book Store is a learning place for all ages and all interests. “Come and have fun learning.”
