Troy lands commitment from JUCO defensive tackle Kam Curry

On Tuesday, junior college (JUCO) defensive tackle Kam Curry announced his commitment to transfer to Troy University to continue his football career.
Curry is a 6-foot-2-inch, 305-pound Midland, Texas, native. At Midland Legacy High School, Curry earned 2-6A First-Team All-District honors as a junior and senior and also earned 2-6A Defensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore when he tallied 54 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss and two sacks. As a senior, he earned 51 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss and five sacks.
Curry started his college career at Tyler Junior College, tallying 23 tackles, four tackles-for-loss and one sack in nine games last season.
