TPD charges four in Circle-K robbery

The Troy Police Department has arrested four people in connection with the robbery of the Circle-K on May 29.
The TPD responded to a report of a robbery in the 100 block of U.S. Highway 231 on May 29, around 1:20 a.m.
Four subjects entered the location wearing dark clothing and ski masks, armed with a firearm.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken, and the subjects fled from the scene traveling north on South Three Notch Street in a dark colored passenger car.
Three suspects, 23-year-old Jaquavious Mason, of Union Springs, 20-year-old Demiracle Washington, of Lanett and 26-year-old Raekwon M Daniels, of Eufaula, were all arrested in in Union Springs, by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
All three have been processed at the Troy City Jail and are being held in the Pike County Jail with no bond pending an Aniah’s law hearing. Both Washington and Daniels are also being held for the Eufaula Police Department for conspiracy to commit murder and second-degree kidnapping charges.
Twenty-two-year-old Kevonte Swift, of Union Springs, turned himself in at the Troy Police Department on June 5, 2024. Swift was charged with robbery 1st degree, processed in the Troy City Jail and later placed in the Pike County Jail where he is being held with no bond pending an Aniah’s Law hearing.
