Summertime is a time for reading.
There are summer reading programs for children and “Tupper” has a reading program for adults. Garneshia Lampley, library coordinator, said it’s Book Bingo time at the Tupper Lightfoot Memorial Library in Brundidge.
Those who enjoy reading and the fun and excitement of Bingo will want to play Book Bingo.
Playing is simple. Check out books from the library, read them and complete the Bingo Board(s) that are available at the library.
As on all Bingo cards, there’s a free space to get player/readers off to a fast start. Then, readers will decide which Bingo path or paths they want to travel. Then, start reading!
The Bingo blocks include books about historical events, with mystery plots, about different countries, books that were TV shows and 20 other book options.
Book Bingo has 25 spaces, including the free space. “And, oh, the places readers will go.”
July 12 is the last day to turn in completed Bingo Boards and be eligible for prizes.
Book Bingo is off to a fast start. Visit the Tupper Lightfoot Memorial Library, pick up a Book Bingo Board and begin summer reading fun.
