Coach Will Sanders said, “Throughout the whole tournament we had 3 to 4 kids that had batting averages over .600. Half the team had batting averages of over .500. Our pitching was phenomenal. I’m really proud of the grit in all the boys. All the kids were great. Great attitudes that took instruction well. They were a pleasure to coach and they really supported each other probably better than any team I’ve ever coached.”
