The City of Troy and Troy University are widely recognized for their dedication to and promotion of the arts at all levels.
And for good reason. There is almost always an arts opportunity in Troy and or at Troy University.
This weekend is filled with arts opportunities for all ages.
Beginning tonight (Thursday), the Johnson Center for the Arts, will host an artist’s reception and art talk featuring Troy native Mary Holman Johnson, a multi-media artist, and Chintia Kirana, the founder of ArtHouse, an artist-run arts residency and also the co-founder of “Montgomery Arts Projects.”
Mary Holman Johnson and Chintia Kirana will be available to discuss their artwork personally.
The events at the Johnson Center for the Arts will kick off a flurry of weekend art activities and events.
