TJWL to host ‘Touch A Truck’

The Troy Junior Women’s League invites “kids” of all ages to come, “Touch-A-Truck” at the Pike County Judicial Complex from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 5.

Madison  Thomas, League president, said this is the Troy Junior Women’s League’s first “Touch-A-Truck event and admission is free.

“But, we are requesting families bring a non-perishable food item to help us support the local food pantries,” Thomas said. “We will have Hayne’s LifeFlight helicopter, the Pike County Sheriff’s vehicles and equipment, the Troy Fire Department, Troy Police Department, O’s Cool Bikes, Troy Animal Rescue Project and many other fun trucks and activities. “

Thomas said will also be free Snow Cones from SnoBallers and popcorn,

The Troy  Junior Women’s League is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering women to make a positive impact in their community through service and giving.

“Together, we aim to uplift and support each other as we give back and create meaningful change in our communities,” Thomas said.
