Seems like the Troy Shrine Club’s Pike County Fair is going to get thumbs-up from the television weather newscast. But, a crow hanging on a fence post could change all that.
However, the Shriners are confident that there will be “good weather” for the 2024 Pike County Fair.
So, the forecast for Wednesday is warm and sunny with a breeze at the Pike County Fairgrounds.
In addition to a fun-for-all Midway, the entertainment at the pavilion is “icing on the cake,” one Shriner said.
Along with the price of a ticket, is the opportunity to enjoy the entertainment at the fairgrounds pavilion. Tonight, the featured entertainment will be Brant McCollough from the extremely popular “American Idol.”
On the night, military ages 62 and up, past and present, with an ID will receive reduced gate admission.
Thursday night is family night with unlimited rides at $15 per person. The She Bang Dancers from Troy will be the featured entertainment
Chad Steele, who is praised for his energy and charisma, will bring his southern charm to his highly anticipated performance.
On Saturday, the nightly entertainment will close with the ever popular “Randy Ross and Linedancers.” And, everyone will be invited to get up and dance. Ross said those who don’t know how to line dance, but want to, will line dance their ways home.
Saturday night is the last night of the Shriners 2024 Pike County Fair. Don’t let the thrills and fun of the county fair pass you by, Ross said.
