Wreck site still active on U.S. 231 in Brundidge

Law Enforcement officers are still working to clear a wreck site just north of Brundidge.
Brundidge Police Chief Sam Green said two transfer truck collided just after 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. The wreck occurred on U.S. Highway 231 near SunSouth. Green said one driver was uninjured and the other driver was transported to a Dothan hospital for non-life-threatning injuries. Green said crews were still working to clear debris.
Green said he would like to thank the Pike County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency for helping at the scene. He said he would also like to thank the Brundidge Volunteer Fire Department, Troy Fire Department, Haynes Ambulance and several volunteers that assisted at the scene.
