Troy’s Cason Eubanks named ALABCA Community College Player of the Year

Recently, the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association (ALABCA) announced its annual Player and Coach of the Year Awards and incoming Troy transfer Cason Eubanks was among the recipients.
Previously, Troy’s Brooks Bryan and associate head coach Ben Wolgamot were named ALABCA Division I Player of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year. Eubanks was also named Division II Community College Player of the Year.
Eubanks was an all-state athlete with Pike Liberal Arts School in Troy before starting his college career at Georgia Southern. He transferred to Wallace Community College in Dothan and shined. He boasted a .378 batting average with 28 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 65 runs and 41 RBIs this past season. He also held a .467 on-base percentage and .686 slugging percentage. Defensively, Eubanks earned a .923 fielding percentage with 55 putouts, 126 assists and nine double plays.
Eubanks earned All-ACCC honors and was also the ACCC Player of the Year. He transferred to Troy during the summer.
