Pike Lib falls to Loachapoka in season finale

The Pike Liberal Arts Patriots (0-10) finished the 2024 season with a frustrating 40-17 loss to the Loachapoka Indians (5-4).

Pike Lib totalled 225 yards of offense with just five yards rushing, while Loachapoka totalled 340 yards with 241 yards on the ground. Pike was also penalized 11 times for 128 yards.

Pike’s scores came on a pair of touchdown runs from Dalton Jordan. He scored on runs of 55 and 69 yards. Sawyer Keck added a 26-yard field goal for the Patriots.

Jordan rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries for Pike, while Dawson Bradford completed 1-of-11 passes for 5 yards. Pruitt Vaughan led the Pike defense with 13 tackles, while Nathan Jefcoat earned eight tackles and Jackson Booth earned five yards.

Pike Lib was forced to forfeit all of its previous wins this season and as a result will finish the season with a winless record and will miss the playoffs.
