Sheree and Jason Senn hosted a reception for Alabama’s 2nd Congressional district candidate Caroleene Dobson on Wednesday evening.  Dobson is the republican candidate for the newly redrawn second district.

Dobson, who has made many visits to Pike County, spoke about how she admires the people of Pike County on their civic involvement and how they give back to the community.  She also discussed how tight this race has become and the importance of getting out to vote.

The Messenger recently endorsed Dobson for the congressional seat citing the importance of having a local voice that understands our needs in Washington, DC.
