The Troy Trojans soccer team wrapped up the 2024 season with a 0-0 draw against the Arkansas State Red Wolves in a Sun Belt Conference game on Thursday night.
It was Troy’s second straight shutout and goalkeeper Nittany Vega earned three saves in the win.
“I thought in the first 10 minutes we were the aggressor and they kind of dominated the rest of the first half,” Troy Coach Stuart Gore said. “I thought in the second half we kind of ran out of time. Another five or 10 minutes and I think we can put one in. It showed in the stats. We get a shutout. We don’t get a win, but we don’t get a loss.”
The Trojans finish the 2024 season with a 5-9-3 overall record and a 1-7-2 record in Sun Belt play. The Trojans’ leading scorer on the season was Delaney Wells with three goals, while Hailey Phillips earned two goals and one assist. Danielle Trovato dished a team-high four assists on the season.
