Pike County School Board approves personnel actions

At the Nov. 4 Pike County Schools Board of Education meeting a number of personnel actions were approved.
The board also approved school board compensation in accordance with Legislative Act No. 2024-331 and approved “Instructional Materials and Textbook Management” and “Challenged Materials” policies for the school system.
The board also approved a request to dispose serving lines at Banks and Pike County Elementary Schools and approved a request for Stephanie Snyder to attend the Alabama Leaders in Education Board meeting on Nov. 15 in Tuscaloosa.
The board also approved a request for the Goshen High School junior varsity cheerleading team to travel to Mobile on Nov. 6 for a cheerleading competition and for the GHS varsity squad to travel to Mobile from Nov. 6-9 for competition.
The following personnel actions were approved.
Employment:
Cameshia Brundidge, CNP worker, Goshen Elementary School;
Shelby Senn, CNP worker, Goshen Elementary School;
Jennifer Kurtz, Pre-K teacher, Goshen Elementary School;
Kelsy Howe, fourth grade teacher, Pike County Elementary School;
Michael Stokes, mechanic, Pike County Schools;
Ashley Long, bus driver, Pike County Schools;
Angelica Kloos-Moreno, instructional aide, Pike County Schools;
Meredith Gramley, instructional aide, Banks School;
Contract Services:
Rosalyn Pollard, intervention aide, Goshen Elementary School (paid by Title I carryover);
Leave:
Macey Snyder, catastrophic/maternity leave, teacher at Goshen Elementary School (Feb. 10, 2025-April 7, 2025); and
Resignation:
Katheryn Williams, CNP worker, Goshen Elementary School.
