Sheila Jackson and Friends Christmas Concert Friday

The clock is fast ticking down to the 19th Annual Sheila Jackson and Friends Christmas Concert at the Claudia Crosby Theater on the campus of Troy University.

Sheila Jackson and Friends, Pike County’s annual opening Christmas concert will be at 7 o’clock Friday night.

Tickets are $20 and will be available at the City of Troy Tourism Department and at the doors of the concert hall on Friday night. The concert will begin at 7 p.m.

Willie B. Williams, Troy Tourism assistant director, said, once again, Sheila Jackson will have an outstanding array of singers, musicians, dancers and, perhaps, a special guest or two.

Williams said the concert will feature both popular tunes and the carols of Christmas,

Everyone expects, and hopes, Jackson will close the concert with “Ave Maria,” which will, once again, begin the Christmas season with a joyful and uplifting spirit.
