This Holiday season, Troy Regional Medical Center donated $600 to local community food pantries.

The money was raised from Troy Regional employees and $600 checks were presented to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, the Salem-Troy Baptist Association and Pike County Salvation Army.

Troy Regional’s Employee Philanthropy Food Bank Program has the mission to help feed their neighbors in Pike County. Troy Regional employees are given the opportunity to set up payroll deductions for Employee Philanthropy, with several programs available. The causes available to employees are Food Bank, Pike Medical Foundation, Employee Benevolence/Assistance Fund, Christmas Families and Patient Assistance Fund. There are programs designed to help co-workers, the local community, patients and the hospital.
