This year’s All-Messenger Volleyball Team features a number of talented athletes from across The Messenger’s coverage area, including All-Messenger Player of the Year Amy Ramage.

Ramage helped Pike Liberal Arts School to its third straight Area Championship this season, tallying an area-leading 359 assists along with 50 aces, one block, six kills and 143 digs. The All-Messenger Coach of the Year is also Pike Lib head coach Tori Sanchez.

Sanchez guided the Lady Patriots to an Area Championship despite not starting the season as head coach. Sanchez, Pike’s softball coach, took over the Pike program in early September, replacing multi-time State Champion head coach Sellers Dubberley just a handful of matches into the season. Regardless, she guided the Lady Pats to their third straight Area Championship and appearance in the postseason.
