Police seek armed robber

Troy Police are looking for a suspect said to have robbed a man with a weapon early Monday.
Between 5:30 and 6 a.m., a man was reported to have approached the victim with a weapon and rob him in the Popeyes parking lot, said Troy Police Spokesman Sgt. Benny Scarbrough.
The victim was a resident of Hillside Mobile Home Park and was walking to work when approached by the robber.
Cash and other identification cards were taken in the incident.
Scarbrough would not reveal the type of weapon used in the robbery. No one is in custody at this time, nor has a suspect been identified specifically. The man is described as a black male.
