Haveman will explain how federal officials relocated the Creek people and discuss the Creeks’ experiences as they traveled over dusty roads and along frozen rivers to present-day Oklahoma.

Tatom said Haveman’s presentation is co-sponsored by the Southeastern Mvskoke Nation and Pike County Historical Society. The presentation is free and open to the public. However, tours of the museum will not be available.
