Ms. Ann Parks Anderson of Troy, AL, Mr. Russell Phillip Kelly of Montgomery, and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Ren Anderson (Stacey) of Troy, AL would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Miss Magan Danielle Anderson to Mr. Paul Hugh McTear III, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hugh McTear Jr. (Denise) of Montgomery.

Miss Anderson is the granddaughter of Ms. Joan Waters Parks and the late Mr. Albert Dansby “AD” Parks of Banks and Ms. Gertrude Grace Anderson and the late Mr. Max Daniel Anderson of Troy.

Miss Anderson is a 2002 graduate of Pike Liberal Arts School in Troy, AL and a 2006 graduate of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. Miss Anderson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications and Film and is currently employed by Raycom Media as the Marketing Director for WDFX-TV Fox 34 in Dothan.

Mr. McTear is the grandson of Ms. Kathleen Boyd McTear and the late Mr. Paul Hugh McTear Sr. of Southampton, PA and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Amos Pashley (Catherine Kilgour) of Philadelphia, PA.

Mr. McTear is a 2001 graduate of Saint James School in Montgomery and a 2007 graduate of Auburn University in Auburn. Mr. McTear received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and is currently employed by Woods Communications Corporation as the Programming and Promotions Director for WCOV-TV Fox 20 in Montgomery, AL.

The wedding is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. August 20th, 2011 at Bush Memorial Baptist Church in Troy. After the wedding, the couple will reside in Troy with their two dogs, Bear and Abbi.
