It wasn’t in time for Thanksgiving Day, but one local Brundidge woman has welcomed her daughter home, after she went missing last week.

Donna Marie Boswell, 19, of Brundidge, returned home Sunday night to her mom Jacqueline Bundy, after she was reported missing Nov. 19.

According to Brundidge Police Chief Moses Davenport, Boswell was located at a convenient store in Pell City when local police recognized her from missing person’s reports.

Davenport said Pell City Police contacted him Sunday evening, but it was a few hours after Boswell willingly called her family.

Bowell was not kidnapped or injured while away, Davenport said.

“She was no abused or hurt. She just did it on her own,” Davenport said.

And now that she’s home, Bundy can rest easy once again.

“I’m elated,” Bundy said. “God is real, and he always answers prayer if you just pray to him in earnest.”

Bundy said she was relieved to hear from her daughter Sunday night.

“She called us last evening around 6 and told us where we was,” Bundy said. “We asked her if she was willing to come back home, and she said she was.”

So relatives Michael Solace, Sue Solace and Shane Wilson went to pick her up.
