The No. 4-ranked Pike Liberal Arts School Patriots remain the only area school in the Alabama Sports Writers Association poll released today. The Patriots took out then ranked No. 7 Glenwood 21-0 last Friday in Phenix City to improve to 4-0 on the season.

Losses last week knocked the No. 3-ranked Charles Henderson Trojans (3-1) and the No. 7-ranked Pike County Bulldogs (2-2) from the Class 5A and Class 3A polls, respectively.

Pike Liberal (4-0) welcomes region foe Taylor Road to town for Homecoming this Friday. Taylor Road has posted a 2-3 record on the season and is 0-2 in region play.

The Trojans (3-1) host Class 6A Theodore High School from Mobile. Theodore comes to Troy with a 3-1 record.

Despite having the ninth best scoring defense in Class 3A, the Bulldogs could not remain in the Top-10 this week. Pike County (2-2) will host cross-county rival Goshen High School (1-3) Friday.
