Goshen dropped on road by New Brockton
The Goshen baseball team (3-10) traveled to New Brockton for a game with only 10 players on the team and lost 5-1.
Head coach Taylor Ezell said the team gave a good effort.
Zach Sprinkle took the loss for Goshen on the mound, throwing four innings. C.C. Faulkner also threw three innings.
At the plate, Ethan Register had an RBI triple in the third inning scoring Steven Mitchell for the Eagles’ lone run.
Up next for Goshen is a game on the road against area rival Georgiana Saturday. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. The Eagles then hit the road again Tuesday for another area game against Highland Home beginning at 4:30 p.m.
