Charles Norman Bagley
Funeral services for Charles Norman Bagley, 79, a resident of Troy, who died April 30, 2007, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Jerome Weed and the Rev. Eric House officiating.
Interment will follow in Damascus Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home of Greenville directing.
Visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to services on Wednesday.
Survivors include his wife, Hilma C. Bagley of Troy; a Daughter, Vickie L. Barton of Troy; and a brother, Gene Bagley of Pensacola, Fla.
Robbie Lee Wingard Canty
Funeral services for Robbie Lee Wingard Canty, 71, who died at April 25, 2007, at Flowers Medical Center in Dothan, will be at noon today at Macedonia CME Church with the Rev. Douglas Perry and the Rev. Morris Clayton officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Grubbs Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Canty was born on March 14, 1936, the second child of the late Willie Wingard and the late Essie Mae Wingard of Pike County.
She received Christ at an early age under the leadership of Pastor Walter G. Wingard at the Luverne Church of God in Christ.
Mrs. Canty was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Essie Mae Wingard; her husband, Sandford Canty; and a son, Larry Canty.
She is survived by one god son, Sammie Lane
(Beatrice) Canty of Chicago; two brothers, Willie Hayward (Josephine) Wingard of Augusta, Ga., and Howard (Judy) Wingard of Neward, N.J.; three sisters, Virginia (Bill) Blacklledge of Chicago, Dorfis (Bobbie) Eiland of Goshen and Brenda Reynolds of Carteret, N.J.; one special grandniece, Cookie Patterson; and a host of other special nieces and nephews and devoted friends.
Pallbearers, honorary pallbearers and flower bearers will be friends of the family.
Foreman Eugene “Zeke” Ellis
Funeral services for Foreman Eugene “Zeke” Ellis, age 80/81, of Brundidge, who died Friday, April 27, 2007, at his home were at 2 p.m. Monday at Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Shirley Ellis and Malcolm Parker officiating.
Burial followed in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.
Visitation was from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. There also was a viewing one hour prior to the service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters and one grandson.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lucille Ellis; three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Ned Bundy, Brenda and Rocky Kerr and Sandra and Larry Rhodes; a sister, Alice Bundy; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Daniel Bundrick, Shannon Massey, Kala Bundrick, Aretha Hartley, Michael Ward, Danny Henderson and Jared Kerr.
His grand grand kids were honorary pallbearers.
Mac Johnston
Funeral services for Mac Johnston, 67, of Brundidge who died Sunday, April 29, 2007, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Brundidge with the Rev. Mack King officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnston is survived by his wife, Sheila D. Johnston of Brundidge, two daughters, Lillian E. (Walter) Klein of California and Jennifer L. Johnston of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Olivia Klein, Sophia Klein, Isabella Klein and Jonathan Johnston.
Renee Hill Forehand
Funeral services for Renee Hill Forehand, 43, of Elba, who died at Enterprise Medical Center Sunday, April 29, 2007, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy.
Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery on Highway 87.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carol Bascom McLeod.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Forehand of Elba; children, Benjamin (Jennifer) Hill of Troy and Timothy Hill of Elba; mother, June McLeod of Troy, three brothers, Randall McLeod of Troy, Kenneth McLeod of Troy and Harold McLeod of Troy; four sisters, Cheryl Little of Troy, Shelia (Donnie) Hardy of Elba, Sharon Moncreif of Henderson and Angela (Mickey) Napper of Jack; and several nieces and nephews.
