Annie Kathrine Henderson
Annie Kathrine Henderson, 85, a resident of Troy died Saturday, September 16, 2006 after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 1 p.m. from Macedonia Baptist Church with Dr. Matt Helms and Rev. Stan Pritchett officiating.
Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by her daughter, Cozette Rotton and her husband Pete of Waverly, Florida; 2 sons, Henry Henderson and his wife Linda of Clayton, and Wayne Henderson and his wife Mary of Troy; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons, Todd Rotton, Shad Rotton, Tim Henderson, Robert Henderson, Heath Henderson and Adam Henderson will be pallbearers. The family received friends at Gray Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2006,
Hugh E. Mallett
Services for Hugh E. Mallett, 93, of Troy who died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at his home will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 20 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Mack Lowery and Rev. Tony Wood officiating.. He will lie-in-state for 1 hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 19 at the funeral home.
Mr. Mallett was born September 9, 1913 in Pike County. He was retired from Alabama Electric Co-op.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Bart Mallett and Martha Youngblood Mallett.
Survivors include his wife, Jerry Mallett of Troy; 2 daughters and their husbands, Sara and Doug Branson of Troy and Lane and Harold Cagle of Dawsonville, Georgia; 2 grandchildren and their spouses, Doug II and Toni Branson of Columbus, Georgia and Stephenie and Dennis Kelly of Troy; 3 great-grandchildren, Gus Hughes of Troy, Virginia and Catherine Branson of Columbus, Georgia and 1 sister, Nannie Turner of Troy.
Pallbearers will be Doug Branson, Doug Branson, II, Harold Cagle, Dennis Kelly, Clyde Doggett and Harold Mitchell.
The family request memorials be made to one's favorite charity.
Kim Jordan
Mrs. Kim Jordan, age 41 of Troy, died Saturday, September 16, 2006 in Birmingham.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, with Reverend Don Grantham, Reverend David Jordan, and Dr. Malone Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation was held Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
She is survived by husband, Donald Jordan; 5 children, Dustin Routzong, Troy, Whitney Jordan, Troy, Mary Jordan, Troy, Ansley Jordan, Troy, Hayden Jordan, Troy; parents, Judy Hawkins, Garden City, Alabama and Tommy Hawkins, Gardendale, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Francis (Buffy) Hawkins.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Wilson, Paul Outlaw, Eric Barron, Chad Hughes, Josh Jones and David Jordan, Jr.
