Dorothy Jim Leverette Lee
Dorothy Jim Leverette Lee, 76, of Troy, died at her home, Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Thursday, June 29, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 10:00 AM with Reverend W.O. Sanders officiating. A private family graveside will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Colley Senior Complex. Pallbearers will be Jim Bruce, James William Rodgers, Marshall Lee, Russell Lee, Jeff Lee, and John Russell, Jr. The honorary pallbearers are the Domino players of the Holiday Inn and the Colley Senior Center. She is survived by 2 Daughters, Susan L. Wilkes of Birmingham and Betty Ann Russell (John) of Jacksonville, Florida, Son, Fitz Hugh and Mary Lee of Troy, Sister, Betty Carter of Brundidge, Grandchildren, Jennifer Jordan, Kathryn Wilkes, John Russell, Jr., Caroline Russell, Fitz Lee, Jr., Brittany Lee, and Courtney Lee, Great grandchildren, Jordan Gilbert and Abigail Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Lee.
Ina Bowden Wilson
Ina Bowden Wilson, 92, of Troy, died at Troy Health and Rehab, Monday, June 26, 2006. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
There will be a 30 minute lie-in-state prior to the service at the church. The funeral service will be held at Springfield Baptist Church on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Robert Thorton and Reverend Ken Baggett officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The family request that memorials be made to Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or your favorite charity. The pallbearers will be her Grandsons. The honorary pallbearers are her Great grandsons. She is survived by her Children, Elizabeth (Albert) Bryant of Brundidge, Jerry (Betty) Wilson of Spanish Fort, and Simuel (Julia) Wilson of Montgomery, Sister, Morrell (Roy) Trentham of Tennille, 7 Grandchildren, Irene and Johnny Bryant, James Albert Bryant, Karen and Robert Kirksey, Brian and Saronna Wilson, Darrell and Susan Wilson, Arlene and Jake Kearney, and Jeff and Betsey Wilson, 13 Great grandchidlren, 3 Great great grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pike Wilson, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Earl William Roy
Services for Earl William Roy, 59, of Troy who died at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2006 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Goshen under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2006 at the funeral home.
Mr. Roy was born September 11, 1946 in Patterson, Louisiana. He was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olive and Edna Comeaux Roy.
Survivors include his wife Linda Roy of Troy; six children, Michael McKinnon and Earline Roy of Troy, Lisa Mayon of Morgan City, Louisiana, Pamela Mitchell of Troy, Jimmy Wright and Earl Hissam both of Meridian, Mississippi; brothers, Oliver Roy, Jr. of Sulphur, Louisiana, John Roy of Houma, Louisiana and Sterling Roy of Morgan City; sisters, Shirley Ohmer of Amelia, Louisiana and Onealia Ragin of Youngsville; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
