John Lewis Tatom
John Lewis Tatom, 27, of Brundidge died at his home Wednesday, June 29, 2005.
Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Thursday, June 30, 2005,
from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Ozark, Alabama on Friday, July 1, 2005, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bruce Fitzgerald officiating.
The family request that memorials be made to the Brundidge Masonic Lodge.
The pallbearers will be Mathew Wren, Jay Newsome, Richard Berry, Mark Dunn, Jessie Hughes, Ricky Chouche, Jacob Stutzman and Shannon Ellis. The honorary pallbearers will be Billy Meitus and Brian Lanahan.
Survivors include, wife, Sara Tatom of Brundidge, mother and step-father, Irene L. and Rickey Ellis of Brundidge, father and step-mother, David H. and Angela Tatom of Panama City, Florida, sister, Holly Ann Tatom of Panama City, Florida, grandfathers, M.A. Lewis of Ozark and Lamar (Margie) Tatom of Brundidge, step-grandmothers, Eva Nell Stanford of Brundidge and Mae Lassiter of Troy, Alabama, step-sister, Amanda Curtis, step-brother, Shannon Ellis, nephew, Kody Curtis, several aunts, uncles and other relatives, mother-in-law, Sheila Stutzman, father-in-law, Joe Stutzman and brother-in-law, Jacob Stutzman. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Margaret Tatom and Myrtle Lewis and step-grandfather, Eugene Lassiter.
He was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity at Troy University and a member of the Brundidge Masonic Lodge.
Jimmy C. Pless
Services for Jimmy C. Pless, 51, of Troy will be at 12 p.m. July 2, 2005 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Willie Brantley officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home of Troy.
The body will lie-in-state from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2005 at the funeral home.
