Clarence Nelson Evans, Jr.

Clarence Nelson Evans, Jr., 59, of Clio died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at his home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with Reverend Fred Bacher officiating. Burial will follow at Elam Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitaion was held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Linda R. Evans of Clio; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Randall Donaldson of Coosada and Ann and Darren Stephens of Troy; one son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Janet Evans of Blue Springs; five grandchildren, Daniel, Hayden, Nash, Colby and Dalton; five sisters, Evelyn, Edna, Jean, Sue and Helen and one brother, Durwood.

Pallbearers will be Max Helms, Charlie Green, Joey Phillips, Calvin Grace, Ken Harrell and Tim Pilot.

Martha K. Rose

Martha K. Rose, 92, of Troy, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at Magnolia Wood Lodge.

Graveside services will be held at Oakwook Cemetery Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ed Walter officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Betty Kern of Florida; a niece, Diane Wilson of Pacific Grove, Calif.; and several othger nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearrs will be deacons of First Baptist Church of Troy.
