Maytrice Phillips Flowers
Services for Maytrice Phillips Flowers, 83, of Brundidge who died Friday, October 10, 2003 in Opelika were at 11 a.m. Monday October 13 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Brundidge with the Revs. Bruce Williams and Mack King officiating.
There was a thirty minute lie in state prior to the service at the church.
Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, October 12 at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James &uot;Boose&uot; Flowers.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Judith and Marion Fuller of Opelika and Janet and William Smart of Brundidge; four grandchildren, Genia and Woody Odom of Opelika, Cherre and Jody Bass of Montgomery, Faith Smart of Brundidge and Brian Fuller of Birmingham; three great-grandchildren, Clay Odom, Colt Bass and Tadan Bass and a brother, Earl Phillips of Tennessee.
The family request memorials be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church Building Fund or St. Johns Baptist Church Building Fund.
