A Troy man was charged with first degree burglary after an incident at an apartment complex this week.

Police said Victor Carroll Faulkner, 45, was arrested Wednesday in the 1700 block of Pike County Road 1111.

He was charged in connection with an incident that took place at 9 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment complex on Botts Avenue.

“An investigation …. revealed that Faulkner entered an apartment on Botts Avenue by force armed with a shotgun,” Sgt. Benny Scarbrough said. “There were three female victims in the apartment when Faulkner broke into the apartment and (he) remained there for approximately 30 minutes before leaving.”

No one was injured in the incident.

Faulkner was being held on a $50,000 bond in the Pike County Jail.
