Ammons-Payne

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Luther Ammons, Jr. of Troy announce the engagement of their daughter, Erika Dawn, to Chad K. Payne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wesley Payne, Sr. of Wilsonville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Eddie Garland Butler, Sr. and the late Mr. Butler of Atmore and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Luther Ammons, Sr. of Troy.

She is a graduate of Troy State University with a bachelor of science in athletic training. She is a certified athletic trainer and is employed by HealthSouth Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscaloosa.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Stone of Wilsonville and the later Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Payne of Akron.

He is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a bachelor of science in education. He also earned a masters degree in education from Samford University. He is a certified athletic trainer and is employed by HealthSouth Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscaloosa.

A family wedding is planned for June 21, 2003, at the Blue Lake United Methodist Assembly in Andalusia.

Machicote-Davis

Lisa I. Machicote of Jack and Christopher W. Davis of Dothan are pleased to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. The couple will be married on May 23, 2003, at 7 p.m. at the Taylor Assembly of God Church in Taylor.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Carlos and Wanda G. Machicote of Elba. She is the granddaughter of the late J.D. and Pearl Farris of Elba and the late Carlos Machicote and Carmen Machicote of Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She is a 1988 graduate of Elba High School and a 1992 graduate of Troy State University. She is presently employed by the Alabama Medicaid Agency as a Medicaid eligibility specialist.

The future groom is the son of Robert and Gayle Davis of Dothan. He is the grandson of Ethel Davis and the late Clifford C. "Doc" Davis and the late John Wesley and Nell Simmons of Dothan. He is a 1989 graduate of Rehobeth High School and a former Marine. He is presently employed by Dothan Utilities with the City of Dothan.

Sanders-Lee

Mr. and Mrs. John F. Sanders Jr. of Troy announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly June, to Joshua Blake Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Lee of Troy.

Miss Sanders is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hasson Jr. of Union Springs and Mr. and Mrs. John F. Sanders of Troy.

Mr. Lee is the grandson of Mrs. Joanner Davenport and the late Mr. D.L. Davenport of Troy and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey M. Lee of Ebenezer.

The wedding is planned for May 24, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church in Union Springs with a reception following in the fellowship hall.

No invitations will be sent locally. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.

Terry-Faulk

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Wallace Terry of Decatur announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Wallace, to Joseph Andrew Faulk, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Erastus Faulk of Troy.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Steele Kirby Sr. and Mrs. Claude Wallace Terry Sr.

of Decatur and the late Mr. Terry. She is a 2000 graduate of Decatur High School in Decatur.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Judge and Mrs. J.P. Faulk Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leamon Randolph Thames. He is a 1991 graduate of Charles Henderson High School in Troy and attended Troy State University and graduated from the University of Alabama and is employed by River Forks Imports.

The wedding will be May 24, 2003, at 4 p.m. in First United Methodist Church in Decatur.

Ward-Pritchett

Mr. and Mrs. W. Bennett Ward of Dothan announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Brooke Ward, to Joshua Joseph Pritchett, son of Dr. and Mrs. Stanley Gordon Pritchett of Troy.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Spurlock and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brown of Ozark and

Mr. Walter Britt Ward and the late Mrs. Sandra Ward of Eufaula.

She is a 1997 graduate of Wicksburg High School and will graduate from Auburn University in May with a bachelor of science degree in Health Promotion.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gordon Pritchett of Union Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gaines of Rainbow City and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lee of Atalla.

He is a graduate of Tate High School, Pensacola, Fla.

The wedding is planned for 6 p.m., May 31, 2003, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Dothan.

A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
