Jessie Baggett

Jessie Hilma Baggett, age 90, of Troy, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at Troy Health and Rehab. Services will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 10 until 11 a.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Baggett of Troy; six grandchildren, Jerry P. “Trey” Baggett, III of Prattville, Kelly and Ronnie Butland of Prattville, Jan and Jamie Porschan of Montgomery, Rodney and Monica Floyd of Atlanta, Robert “Bob” Floyd of Birmingham, and Anita and Dewayne Parker of Springhill; fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and a sister-in-law, Frances Berry of Troy.

Mrs. Baggett was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Parker Baggett; two daughters, Marilyn McGowan and Janice Floyd; two brothers, CL Berry and James Merwyn Berry; and a sister, Olene McLeod.
