James C. Blair
Services for James C. Blair, 72, of Troy who died at Baptist South Medical Center in Montgomery Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. L.C. McMillian officiating.
Burial will be in Orion Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.
Visitation was from 12:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002, at the funeral home.
Mr. Blair was born Aug. 2, 1930, in Troy. His parents were Horace Blair and Florence Jackson. He was a truck driver and attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. His hobbies were baseball and driving.
Survivors are his wife Jacqueline Busby Blair; children, Patricia Blair Adetayo of Upper Marlboro, Md., Joseph Michael Blair of Elizabeth City, N.C., Lynette Jackson of Gainesville, Fla., Veronica Blair of Edenton, N.C., Eva Jean Hill, Alexander Rouse of Troy, Tabatha Rouse Givins of Troy, Chandra Shantel Rouse Gosha, James Anthony Rouse and Carlose Alfonzo Rouse of Troy; sister, Catherine (Johnny) Blackmon of San Antoine, Texas, And two other sisters remaining; brothers, John Frank Casrell of Montgomery and Charles Blair; aunt, Willie Mae Harris of Troy.
Pallbearers are Carlos Rouse, Dexter Smith, Roderick Adair, Mike Jones, Robert Pryor and Billy Bean.
Floralbearers are the nieces.
