What do people talk about 25 years after they were scattered in the wind like dandelion seeds?
That’s what the Charles Henderson High School Class of 1977 was trying to figure out this weekend during its 25th Class Reunion.
"What we talk about what we did in high school or what we shouldn’t have done but did. And we also talk about what we’re telling our kids not to do now," said Phyllis Brown Givens.
Givens lives in Midland City with her family and works at Crystal River Seafood in Dothan.
Dan Smith, director of Troy Parks and Recreation, said most people spend their reunions reminiscing and telling old high school stories.
However, he just has a hard time reminiscing along with everybody else. He forgets, so he says he just talks about his family instead.
The class was one of the biggest groups to pass through the halls of CHHS, but the turnout for reunion number 25 was scattered during the family picnic at Murphree Park.
