Goshen downs Highland Home

Goshen improved to 6-4 on the season with a 51-48 victory over Highland Home.
The Flying Squadron took a three point lead early in the second quarter before the Eagles went on a 9-2 run to take a 24-19 advantage.
Highland Home would return the favor beginning at the end of the first half and into the third quarter. Goshen would see their lead evaporate and turn to a 32-24 deficit on the back a 13-0 stretch.
Deangelo Orum scored the Eagles next eight points before Antonio Brown hit a three-pointer to put Goshen back out in front, 35-34.
The Eagles lead by as many as nine with five minutes left in the game. When Highland Home closed the gap to two, Goshen’s Joshua Milsap took over. After, two quick lay-ins, Milsap received a pass on a back door cut and with a slam dunk doubled the Eagles lead and iced the game.
