Vera C. Graves

Services for Vera C. Graves, 87, of Montgomery who died May 14, 2002, at Baptist Medical Center East will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2002, at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Benny Cole officiating. She will lie-in-state from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday May 16, 2002 at the funeral home.

Ms. Graves was born May 18, 1914, in Pike County.

She completed four years of college with a B S. in Nursing. She was a nurse at the V.A. Hospital. Her parents were Charles David Graves, Sr. and Ada Mae Carter.

Survivors include two nieces, Anna Lambert and Denise Lovett both of Charlotte, NC; brother, Raymond Graves of Montgomery and several nieces and nephews.
