Comer Griswold

Comer Griswold, 93, of the Haw Hill Community, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001 at Pike Manor Health Care Center in Troy.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 20 at Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church with the Revs. Cecil Jackson and Ben Amlong officiating, Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Mr. Griswold will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ewell and Annette Griswold; one daughter and son-in-law, Annie Merle and Bobby Williams, all of Jack; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Skeen Funeral Home in Brundidge.
