Troy State will play host to the Troy State Coach "O" Invitational this Saturday, October 20th. The meet will be held at the Trojan Oaks Golf Course on campus and will include 14 collegiate men’s and women’s teams.

Athletes from Alabama A&M, University of Alabama-Birmingham, Alabama State, Auburn, Belhaven, Clark Atlanta, Florida A&M, Georgia State, Jacksonville State, Lawson State, Morehouse, Morris Brown and Southern Union State will be fielding teams in the event.

The women’s 3,000 meter race will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the men’s 5,000 meter race to follow at 10:30 a.m.

The Trojan’s will be led by Freshman Chris Batista on the men’s team and by Freshman Belinda Bargmann on the women’s team. The Trojan’s will be using this meet to prepare for the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship to be held on the campus of Georgia State in Atlanta October 27.
