Services for Mike Youngblood, who passed away on July 17, 2001, will be held at Elam Church in Goshen on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 4 p.m.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. and burial will immediately follow the service.
Senovia Dulaney
Senovia Dulaney, 56, of Troy died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001 at her home.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. L.C. McMillian officiating. Burial will be held at Carroll Street Cemetery with George F. Grubbs Funeral Home directing.
Ms. Dulaney was born May 2, 1945 in Troy to Alfred and Glossie Dulaney. She attended Academy Street School, Riley College, Trenholm Technical College and Troy State University. She was employed at Pike Manor Health Care Facility and was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Reatha Dulaney of Troy; her son, Herman Terrell Daniel of Troy; one granddaughter, Kanaja Moultry; one brother, Eugene (Carrie) Dulaney; one sister-in-law, Darnella Moultry; devoted neices and nepews, Deidre Carter and Darrell Bell; a goddaughter, Nichole Whaley; sincere friends, Bernice Talbot, Ruthie Mae Jackson, Linda Shipman and Mason Brown; a special friend, Mr. Rasho (Coot) Johnson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Michael McGrady, Corey Shipman, Roy Maddox, Calvin Brundidge, Rayfus Williams, Amos Brown, James Neal and Tim Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Jones, Lionel Maddox, Joe Wheeler and Adolph Andrews. Floralbearers will be Pike Manor Health Care Facility and the Class of 1963.
Visitation will be held at noon today.
Julia Allen
Julia Allen, 88, formerly of Troy died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2001 in Ocala, Fla.
Graveside services for Mrs. Allen will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Bullock County with the Rev. Larry Ellis officiating, Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Survivors include sons, Bobby John Allen of Bainbridge, Ga., Julius Edward Allen of Bainbridge, Ga., and Charlie J. Allen Jr. of Ocala, Fla., a daughter, Betty Jane Donnhoe of Buford, S.C.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Billy J. Madaris
Billy J. Madaris, 53, of Troy died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001 at Edge Regional Medical Center.
Services will he held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Revs. Bruce Hose and Steve Rascoe officiating. Burial will be held at Center Ridge Cemetery, Highway 123 between Ozark and Ariton, with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy.
Horace Brunson Jr.
Horace Brunson Jr., 68, of Brundidge died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26 at St. Mark’s with the Rev. Jeff Abner officiating. Burial will be held in the Star Hope Cemetery with Bell’s Liptrot/Dawson Funeral Home directing.
