Joanne Knotts, 58, of Brundidge died Saturday, July 21, 2001 at Edge Regional Medical Center in Troy.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 25 at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father David Carucci officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Park with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include her husband, Wallace A. Knotts of Brundidge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Julie and Adam D. Shirley of Kailua, Hawaii, Janet Knotts of Las Vegas, Nev.; one son, Johnny Knotts of Troy; one granddaughter, Savannah Shirley of Kailua; one brother, Brian Faunce of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Mary Louise Faunce of Churchton, Md.; stepson and daughter-in-law, Wally and Eunice Knotts of Hamilton, Ga.; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Allen Jordan of Andrews, S.C.; five step grandchildren, Tony, Heather, Marcus, Aaron and Lance; many nieces and nephews.

She was employed with the Civil Service for 35 years with her latest job at Ft. Rucker. Mrs. Knotts was born and reared in Washington, D.C.
