Emma Gayle Bradley, 54, of Dothan died Monday, July 9, 2001 at Wesley Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 11 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will be at Hebron Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Survivors include sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Ervin Pinckard of Troy; nephew, William Bradley of Panama City, Fla.; god mother, Clara Clark of Dothan; three aunts, Gerald Bundy of Troy, Callie Barnes of Phenix City and Julia Davis of Luverne; a host of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Ovie D. Grimes, James Grissett, Albert Stephens and Ira Thompson. The fine staff of Wesley Manor Nursing Home will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Sarah Louise Henley
Sarah Louise Henley, 74, of Hope Hull died Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at Baptist Hospital in Montgomery.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 12 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy. Burial will be at Paron Cemetery in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Survivors include husband, Aubrey Henley of Hope Hull; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Mary Henley of Hope Hull; four grandchildren, Angela Rose Gantt, Paul Alan Henley, Robert L. Schodorf and Scott A. Schodorf; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Davis of Daleville and Cathrine Reeves of Camano Island, Wash.; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
Lucille Youngblood
Lucille Youngblood, 87, of the Youngblood Community died Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 12 at Old Lebanon Baptist Church with the Revs. Joe Youngblood and Perry Green officiating. Burial will be at Old Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.
Survivors include sister, Mary Cargile of Montgomery; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Deanie Cargile of Opelika; niece and nephew, Wayne and Jean Avirett of Troy; several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Youngblood.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Old Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Pallbearers will be Joey Avirett, David Gibson, David Johnson, Russell Johnson, Burt Youngblood and Hub Youngblood. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Old Lebanon Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. There will be a 30-minute lie-in-state prior to the service.
Jessie Lane
Jessie Lane, a resident of Brundidge, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001. Funeral services and survivors will be announced by Bell’s Liptrot/Dawson Funeral Home.
Otis Flowers
Otis Flowers, 59, of Brundidge died Monday, July 9, 2001 at Edge Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, July 13 at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Brundidge with the Revs. N. Larkin and J.E. Person, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at New Salem Cemetery with George F. Grubbs Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Flowers was born Aug. 19, 1941 in Coffee County to Ardenels and the late Mrs. Willie C. Flowers. He attended Coffee County public schools. He was employed as a certified welder with Dorsey Trailers for many years and was a member of New. Mt. Salem Missionary Baptist Church. Singing was his main hobby and he sang with the L.B. Gospel Singers of Troy.
Survivors include a loving and devoted friend, Annette Rumlin; two children, Odias Ray of Minnesota and Donna (Willie) Williams of Brundidge; six step children; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; father, Ardenels Flowers of Brundidge; two brothers, Willie A. Flowers of Troy and Jerome (Velvia) Flowers of Brundidge; three sisters, Mary (Leamon) Neal of Enterprise, Jewel Flowers and Helen Franklin of Brundidge; three uncles; two aunts; several nieces and nephews; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Deacon James Moultry, Willie Nickson, the Rev. J.N. Flowers, Leamon Nickson, Elder L.E. Flowers and S.W. Lee. Grandsons and friends will serve as honorary pallbearers. Granddaughters and nieces will serve as floralbearers.
